Post-Graduation Work Permit

Post-Graduation Work Permit

If you have finished your first degree or postgraduate studies in a recognised institution in Canada, you are qualified to work in Canada. As an international student possessing Canadian educational credentials, you can apply for post-graduation work through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). But, at the time of application, the applicant is not allowed to carry any work permit.

Once granted the Post-Graduation Work Permit, the applicant can work in Canada for up to three years. In addition, applicants applying for such post-education program must have studied in Canada for more than two years before they can be eligible. In a case in which the applicant’s program of study is less than such duration, the applicant is still qualified to apply for post-graduation work permit for three years. In the same vein, if the applicant has only engaged in a one-year diploma program in Canada, the applicant can still apply for the same. Always ready to help, contact us now.
